The 3s clinched promotion to Division 6 with a thrilling 7 run victory over SMRH 4s at the IPA yesterday. They recovered from 11-3 to post a modest total of 136 based around a brilliant 53 by Gusto supported well by Pavan (24) and Chiru (23). After dropping some key catches the 3s managed to pull an unlikely victory from the fire coming back from 106-4 after 30 overs to dismiss the opposition for only 129. Grant, Coolio and Pavan all bagged braces and there were 3 sharp run outs as the pressure finally got to the visiting team.
