After a modest fielding performance by the DTs Boroughmuir posted a competitive total of 148 at the Terry Newcombe Final on a lovely Newfield wicket this Wednesday. Hussain starred carrying his bat and scoring 81. The DT reply was led by Jamal who hit an unbeaten 50 ably supported by Bilal, Awais and Druv. The winning runs were hit by Druv in the 17th over with only 2 wickets down. Well done to Hassan who skippered during this competition, all the players who got us there and to the big turnout of DT players and supporters on a lovely.July evening.
