Dear Drummond Trinity Members,
I was good to meet so many of you on Saturday and to puts some faces to names. My little girl's firm favourite DTs cricketer is now Gurjeet (which may have been something to do with all the cake he gave her!).
This is a quick update on the re-arrangement of all the cup matches rained off this week.Some of you will already have seen this info already, but I thought it best to send a general clarification.
- The Parks Trophy Semi-Final against Leith Fab will now be played this Sunday (14 July) with a 5pm start time (at Leith Links).
- The Terence Newcombe Semi-Final against Scottish Widows will be played next Tuesday (16 July) at Inverleith Park.
- The Braw Skelp fixtture against Morton will now be played next Thursday (18 July) at Inverleith Park.
- If we win on Sunday we will also have a Parks Trophy final on Wednesday at Newfield.
I have also arranged a home friendly for 13 August to get some more game time for members.
All these are, of course, weather permitting. These fixtures are now on the website so please update your availability as soon as you can. Anyone available, but not in the starting 11 for the semi final matches, will get a game in the Braw Skelp on Thursday.
The DTs committee appreciates your continuing patience with what has been a frustrating summer for midweek cricket.
