The DT 3s won a rain affected match on Meadows 3 on the first Satruday of the season. Having been asked to bat the DTs recovered from 18-3 to post a total of 162-8 thanks to a solid middle order fightback led by Gus (30), Dinesh (29) and Sriram and Kev (both 27). Then a blistering opening burst from The Hoz (3-29) and Sanath (2-7) the visitors were reduced to 20-6. By 32 overs they had limped to 97-9 at which point the rain drew matters to an early close with the DTs winning comfortably by ELC rules.
