The DT 3s first outing versus Marchmont 3s at Cavalry Park ended in a disappointing 33 run defeat despite restricting the home side to 126-9 in their 40 overs despite having only 10 fielders with Jack and Victor both taking 3-20. Sammy the Seal top scored with 23 in a reply which collapsed from 69-2 to 93 all out. Some promise shown by debutants Arif with the ball and Sriram with the bat but more application needed with the bat next week.
