Dear Members of Drummond Trinity CC,
Thanks to all those who attended last night's AGM, the first in the club's history to be held remotely! The minutes have been uploaded to the Drummond Trinity website.
With regards the 2021 Season- ESCA are currently planning for a normal start (late April) and full fixture list for the forthcoming season, although as you would imagine, this is subject to change as the Covid situation, and local and national governmental rules on social distancing and sport, evolve over the early Spring. ESCA are holding a pre-season Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 April at which point it is hoped that the plans for the 2021 season will be clearer. Alternatives to a full season include a partial season (starting later), or a regional structure of competitive or friendly fixtures similar to 2020. In general, it must be stressed, that ESCA are both optimistic, and determined, that (played in a safe environment) there will be plenty of cricket this summer.
I will attend the meeting on 15 April on behalf of the club and report back to the committee and members- if anything important comes up before then I will also be in touch,
