  • Unfeasibly tall Essex lad who opens the bowling regularly for the club. On rare occasions he has some control over what he does with the ball, a fine purveyor of the swing bowling art. A committed number 11 batsman, Steve has held the fort on several occasions but still craves that elusive first 50. Once famously gave skipper Steve Coulson out LBW to a ball that struck the batsmen 3 yards down the track and was missing the wicket keeper, let alone leg stump.
